Our Services
Innovation costs money: not only good ideas and valuable time, but in most cases also capital.
venturelab17 supports impact-driven innovators in raising public and private funding, both dilutive and non-dilutive.
With regard to classic dilutive financing instruments (equity capital), we accompany impact-driven companies and founders on the path to investment readiness. We also support strategic questions, the organization of financing rounds and, where needed, the active approach to business angels and other institutional and non-institutional venture capital providers, as well as family offices and strategic investors (corporates). In doing so, we pay particular attention to the specifics of impact investment, including quantifiable impact indicators.
We also raise awareness, where relevant, for the potential of public grants and financing.
Many social and impact-driven innovations emerge at the interface with the public sector or depend on it in decisive ways. Alongside classic cases of publicly co-financed social enterprises or regulated health products, companies in the environmental and circular economy are also regularly active at this interface, for example in connection with permit procedures and plant planning that is capable of being approved.
We advise and accompany impact-driven companies in this interface work, connect them with relevant contacts and, where necessary, advocates. We see ourselves as translators and mediators from private sector to public sector, and also the other way around: from public sector to private sector, by repeatedly sensitizing public-sector decision-makers to the needs and potential of entrepreneurial solutions and innovations for social and ecological challenges.
Beyond strategic questions of corporate and growth financing, the venturelab17 team supports impact-driven founders and entrepreneurs in developing answers to overarching strategic questions, especially product-market fit and theory of change (impact logic).
In strategic positioning, we also bring in, where relevant, the perspective of potential investors and partners.
Partners
venturelab17 works with strong partners from public funding, technology, finance and entrepreneurship. This creates access to resources, expertise and networks that support impact-driven companies from the first idea to the next resilient growth phase.
